Finishing off my image series from a couple of visits to the local Farmer's Market, done just before the COVID-19 confinement. While images on Part I and Part II, shot on the prior, were cropped to the 2.7:1 image aspect ratio, these later images are not. These are the 4:3 aspect images from the 5MP Nokia Asha 300, resized to 800 pixels on the taller side.

Konica Genba Kantoku 28WB, A Street Shoot Look Back
A look back at the set of test images taken with the Konica Genba Kantoku 2WB as used on its film camera review page, as compared to the set used for the initial blog post, in 2019.
An exciting camera with an F3.5 28mm wide-angle lens, the Genba Kantoku (Site Supervisor) is a series of ruggedized and weatherproofed 35mm film cameras first introduced into the construction industry in 1990 as the Genba Kantoku 28.
While the 28mm lens version was also made available as the Konica Off-road Wide 28, and later complemented with the New Genba Kantoku 28, Genba Kantoku 28WB, Genba Kantoku 28WB ECO, and Genba Kantoku 28HG, there was also the 40mm Genba Kantoku, 40mm off-road Genba Kantoku DD, 28-56mm Genba Kantoku Zoom, and later the digital DG-1, DG-2, DG-3Z, DG-4W, and DG-5W.

Zuiko OM 50mm 1:1.8, Down By The Lake
Here we are, still doing the best under the COVID-19 constraints, going through the archives for something worthwhile to blog about. This one was an early morning outing by the lake, taken a while back, with the Zuiko OM 50mm 1:1.8, with shots of the wildlife that frequents the lake for food and nourishment.
The Zuiko OM 50mm 1:1.8, equivalent to 100mm on the 2x crop-sensor E-P5 is far too short to be really effective for the shoot. The images were huge blowups of sections of the image. A better setup should of course be a lens with a longer focal length lens, a tripod...

With many photographers spending a lot more time at home or indoors during this COVID-19 stay-at-home pandemic confinement, the challenge to keep going and occupied may come as a daunting task, leaving you sometimes struggling for inspiration. This should not be the case, you should not let that happen, the creative juice must keep on flowing.
Do not fret too much at your inability to go out for a shoot, or to take the exposed film roll to the lab for processing, and the missing moments of satisfaction at seeing the negative frames popping up as full JPEG images on the scanner. There are always other ideas that you can be creative with, look at, or just get started on.
One idea I started on is to organize and manage a gallery or archived images on a shared photo-sharing platform, Google Photos. I found it easy and straightforward to do what I had planned with the 'Album' function that came with the app. My take on the project is to create the Analog Diary Photo Book as a date-timed annotated thematic image triptych.
After a couple of trials and I had the Picture Book going good in the direction it was meant to be. Currently, though, the project is still in its infancy, with very limited image content. This will, of course, change over time, and as it is set to be a long-term project, I am sure that its development will go far and long beyond the confines of any current hardships. Looking forward to your visit.
